Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Ali Jafri ("we", "us") for your use of Keyform Studio (the "service"). By signing in or using the service you accept them. If you use the service for an employer or client, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to.

1. The service

Keyform Studio is a set of tools for people who build and support Hyland OnBase solutions. It helps you design forms and write scripts, queries and documentation. It does not connect to your OnBase system, and it changes nothing there: you decide what to copy into OnBase and when.

2. Accounts

• Accounts are created by invitation from us or from an administrator of your organization. Each account is for one person; don't share it.
• Keep your password and any two-factor codes secret, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
• You are responsible for what is done through your account.
• An administrator of your organization can see, change, suspend or remove the accounts they manage.

3. Your content

• You keep ownership of everything you create or load into the service, such as forms, scripts, queries, settings and OnBase configuration exports ("your content").
• You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to run the service for you. We don't sell it, share it with other customers, or use it to train any AI model.
• Only load content you have the right to use. OnBase configurations often belong to your employer or client: follow their rules, and don't load patient, financial or other personal data the service doesn't need. The service is not designed to store protected health information, and we don't sign business associate agreements.
• Keep your own copies of anything important. We take regular backups, but we can't promise that content will never be lost.

4. Generated output

Forms, scripts, SQL, documentation and reviews produced with the service ("output") are starting points. They can contain mistakes, and they are produced from what you enter or load, which may be incomplete. You must review and test all output in a non-production environment before you use it. You are responsible for any output you put into use, and the output is yours to use.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• try to get into accounts, data or parts of the service you aren't allowed to use, or test its security without our written permission;
• disrupt or overload the service, or use automated tools to sign in or collect data from it;
• copy, resell, rent or sublicense the service, or copy its design or code to build a competing product;
• upload malware, or use the service for anything unlawful.

6. Hyland and OnBase

Keyform Studio is an independent product. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Hyland Software, Inc. OnBase and Hyland are trademarks of Hyland Software, Inc., used here only to describe what the service works with. Using the service does not change your agreements with Hyland or your OnBase reseller.

7. Plans and payment

Accounts are currently provided free of charge or on a complimentary plan. If we introduce paid plans, we will show the price, billing period and renewal terms before you are asked to pay, and paid plans will also be covered by the terms shown at that time. We may change or end free and complimentary plans with reasonable notice.

8. Suspension and ending

• You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or that its organization asks us to remove. Where it's reasonable, we will tell you first.
• When an account is closed, we may delete its content after 30 days. Ask us before then if you need an export.

9. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the service or its output will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from the service or its output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.

11. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims by others that arise from your content, your use of output, or your breach of these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes we will give notice in the service or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.

13. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service.
